Master Chen Yikui's New Exposition of Five Techniques
In the field of Chinese metaphysics, the five techniques of mountain, medicine,fate, physiognomy, and divination occupy a very important position, in old time, these five techniques are—FengShui study (San-mountain), medical treatment (Medicine), the study of fortune-telling prediction (Ming), the judging of good or bad (signature) by observing people's appearance (Xiang), and judging the future by divination (Bu).
However, Master Chen Yikui believes that in the context of the new era of the 21st century, these traditional identifications must have new interpretations. Therefore, he combined the creation and research of many years to give the traditional "five skills" to a new definition, a simple list is as follows:
San—In addition to geomantic geography, the mountain also includes theories of climate, housing, environmental psychology, and behavioral psychology.
Yi—In addition to the treatment model of the TCM system, medicine should also include important human issues such as food, health, happiness, and survival.
Ming—In addition to numerology theory, fate should also include the performance of self-psychology.
Xiang—In appearance, the subject should be the manifestation of life, the symbol of disease and health.
Bu—Under the original definition of "divination" and "prediction", it should also include the thinking and induction of creating the future.
